*To be commissioned by Buhari in January
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday, said that the Imota Rice Mill in Ikorodu has commenced operations and will be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari by January next year.
Sanwo-Olu stated this at 2022/2023 All Progressives Congress, APC, Gubernatorial Campaign -Lagos East Senatorial District Mega Rally at Ikorodu Town Hall.
According to the Governor, the President would also commission other laudable projects in the state, while commending the people of Ikorodu and the district for their continuous support for his government, and the ruling party.
The Governor who received a heroic welcome at the rally said the event was in support of the APC’s candidates in the Senatorial District urging the people to endeavour to collect their Permanent Voter’s Card in order to perform their civic responsibilities during the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
